Music School in China

Music School in China

Good Morning !!!  This place is a music school, but because of it’s really nice design it became a major tourist destination in China. The transparent Violin houses the escalators and the staircase for the main piano building. I wouldn’t mind taking a few lessons there 😉 I understand all the tourists who go there because once I’m in china I will definitely go and check this site, it looks so serene, calm and relaxing. Another destination on my travel to-do list 😉 Enjoy.          ...

Lullaby Factory, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children

Lullaby Factory, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children

Good Morning !!! I can’t find the words to describe how great this project is. It’s unique and exquisite. It’s about the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, and the Southwood Building, which dates back to the 1930s. The hospital is supposed to overlook a landscape, but now it is blocked by the old building for 15 years. So they decided to create something fun in the limited space they have for the children to enjoy and feel good when they look outside. Studio Weave has imaginatively metamorphosed the mysterious pipes and plant of the Southwood Building into a secret world that cannot be seen except from inside the hospital and cannot be heard by the naked ear, only by tuning in to its radio frequency or from a few special listening pipes. I love this project and I hope you love it too, so tell me what you...

From a power station into an architecture museum

From a power station into an architecture museum

Good Morning !!! One of the best known landmarks in London, the Battersea power station, will be transformed into an architecture museum. Atelier Zündel Cristea (AZC) won the competition to design this iconic building. Personally I think they did a great job. From the moment I laid my eyes on the design, I was captivated. I didn’t need to check their concept or what they had in mind because it’s obvious, it’s all about fun, I know fun is relative for every person, but these architects knew how to make it appealing for people of all ages. The main focus of this museum won’t be the exhibition of interesting project, but it is to attract each one of us to go, explore, share these stimulating works, and therefore educate people. The notable integration of the roller coaster creates a connection between the building and it’s surroundings, by providing a great view of the city and of this remarkable site that is Grade II*...
